The company philosophy is as follows: as humans, we experience life mainly through our five senses and therefore the human body and the way it uses and occupies space forms the focus of this company’s design philosophy: we feel a natural harmony with shapes, spaces and textures that affirm and reflect our physical presence in space. Even the most ordinary door is in fact a representation and reflection of the proportions of the body that passes through it; door handles show where our hands go; windows where we will see from. Taps, basins, and baths are all forms adapted to ergonomic use.
We should not deny human existence in space, form and texture. While technology brings great benefits and can facilitate the integration of man and space, it should not become our major focus but should remain a means to an end and it should always remain subservient to the inhabitants for whom the architecture is designed. Architecture allows us to investigate our relationship with our environment and to express it in built form. Architectural objects that unobtrusively encourage the harmonious integration of human and environment, without the negation of either, is the ideal.
